Glorykids' Curriculum

Our curriculum advocates for the 21st-century learner through communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, care and choice. Through our curriculum, our students are enabled to explore, discover, predict and apply their learning lifelong. Our kindergarten and nursery learning domains involve languages, mathematics, science, art and craft and physical development. We use the phonics system to teach English. Our learning domains are integrated with the thematic approach so that each age group experiences learning through various themes. Every 2 months, our school incorporates project-based learning for the 4 to 6-year-olds, which involves researching, collaborating and presenting. To enhance our students learning experience, Glorykids uses the smartboard as an interactive tool to learn.

A Holistic Child
18 months to 3 years old
8:30 am - 3:00 pm
Learning domains that will be taught to our 18 months to 3 years olds are English, Mathematics, Art & Craft, Physical Development and Socio-Emotional Development. We believe in holistic development; as such, our students will be able to learn with sensory materials and activities. Our programme includes Rhyme, Music & Movement, along with Circle Time, which extends our learning domains taught.
4 years old
8:15 am - 11:45 am
Learning domains that will be taught to our 4 years olds include Languages, Mathematics, Art & Craft, Physical Development and Socio-Emotional Development. Our 4 years olds will learn 2 languages: English and Mandarin. We believe in holistic development; as such, our students will be able to play with sensory materials and activities. Our programme includes Rhyme, Music & Movement, along with Circle Time, which extends our learning domains taught. To enhance our 4 year olds learning, Glorykids has 4 centres which are our Science Centre, Innovation Centre, I-Pad Centre and Domestic-Science Centre.
5 years old
8:15 am - 12:15 pm
Learning domains that will be taught to our 5 year olds include Languages, Mathematics, Art & Craft, Physical Development and Socio-Emotional Development. Our 5 year olds will learn 3 languages: English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. We believe in holistic development; as such, our students will be able to play with sensory materials and activities. After-School Program
11:30 am - 3:00 pm: 18 months to 3 years old
11:45 am - 3:00 pm: 4 years old
12:15 pm - 3:00 pm: 5 years old and 6 years old
After-School Program (ASP) enhances and enriches the learning experience of our students. After lunch, which is included in the fee, our teachers will coach our students in their homework accompanied with revision of the learning domains of that day. This is followed by teacher-led thematic and project-based educational activities.
Daycare
3:00 pm - 5:30 pm: 18 months to 6 years old
Daycare occurs after our After-School Program. Depending on ages, our team will either shower for our students or monitor and coach our students showering. After showering, our students will rest using Glorykids' sleeping bag. Our students will be served with a light snack and drink when they wake up. Following that, our students will watch an educational program while waiting to be picked up.

Enhance and Extend
Innovation Centre
Here, our students will enhance their development of Language, Mathematics, Critical Thinking, Fine-Motor Skills and Socio-Emotional Development through fun activities.
Science Centre
Here, our students will have hands-on experience in experimenting and learning the 'why' and 'how' to the world of science.
I-Pad Centre
Here, our students will develop technology literacy, which is needed in the 21st-century world. Our students will learn and engage with our I-pad's educational language and mathematics games.
Domestic-Science Centre
Here, our students will develop basic cooking skills. Our students will learn to prepare, cook and decorate food.
Educational Field Trip
Here at Glorykids, we believe in creating a holistic learning environment for our students. As such, we organise numerous education school field trip throughout the year, which enables our students to experience learning outside of the classroom environment. The educational field trip locations and themes are based on our curriculum.
